RIVERSIDE (IMPACT HOUSING)

LOCAL AREA CO-ORDINATOR / CENTRAL ACCESS POINT - Referrals for people requiring short term accommodation due to homelessness, age limit is 16+, looking for supported accommodation, signposting, floating support.

OAKLEA TRUSTthis external link will open in a new window - Supports people to gain or maintain their independence.  By supporting people in their own home the trust assist in individuals maintaining their personal dignity and independence.  Number of service areas including Learning and Disability support, Youth Services.

NIGHTSTOPthis external link will open in a new window - Nightstop North East & Cumbria works to provide emergency accommodation for people who are in immediate housing crisis.  The project works with homeless and vulnerable people over the age of 16 and provides overnight accommodation in the homes of volunteer 'hosts' who will provide a clean and safe environment along with an evening meal, breakfast and a 'listening ear' if required.

CASTLE & COASTSthis external link will open in a new window - Castles & Coasts Housing Association Ltd (CCHA) formed 31 July 2017 following the merger of Two Castles Housing Association and Derwent & Solway Housing Association.  CCHA deliver locally-focussed services and will develop new homes across the North of England to meet affordable housing need.

CARLISLE KEYthis external link will open in a new window - Runs a drop-in service where young people aged 16-25 can get advice and guidance on homeless, housing, welfare benefits, support with form filling, tenancy advice and advocacy, counselling support, employability advice and guidance.  Drop-in times are 12.30-3.30 Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
