Safeguarding Responsibilities, Threshold Guidance & Referral Process - Level 2 (e-Learning)

PRIOR TO ATTENDING THIS COURSE PARTICIPANTS MUST UNDERTAKE THE eLEARNING COURSE Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 1 (eLearning) WHICH CAN BE ACCESSED THROUGH THE CSCP WEBSITE FROM HERE

This course is designed to help participants understand safeguarding responsibilities, thresholds and referral procedures.

By the end of this course you will:

  • Be able to demonstrate understanding of responsibilities to safeguard children
  • Be able to identify the threshold criteria of different levels of intervention and the referral process
  • Be able to identify the reasons for changes in legislation and policy
  • Be able to apply new learning in respect of the lessons of Serious Case Reviews and the impact of them upon practice
  • Write an action plan based upon reflective thinking
