Professionals

This section of our web site is aimed at Professionals, people who work with children and families. This part of the website is here to help and assist professionals in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

If you are a professional with a serious concern about a child or young person that needs immediate protection contact Cumberland or Westmorland and Furness Safeguarding Hub, you will be asked to complete a single contact form. Where immediate protection is not required you will be expected to complete a single contact form, informed by an Early Help Assessment where possible, in the first instance.

Please see the Cumbria Safeguarding Children Partnership (CSCP) Information Sharing Protocol for good practice notes and details for sharing confidential information.
