ARMY CADETS - The Army Cadet Force is a national voluntary youth organisation that works with young people of Cumbria and also nation wide. It is sponsored by the Army and provides challenging military, adventurous and community activities. Its aim is to inspire young people to achieve success in life with a spirit of service to the Queen, their Country and their local community, and to develop in them the qualities of a good citizen.

PEOPLE FIRST - People First run two youth projects, Talk-Active and Next Steps. Both projects offer support to young people aged 10-18 with learning difficulties and/or autism. Talk Active supports young people to develop key life skills, Next Steps supports the transition out the pandemic and into everyday life.  People First run the Hospitality Academy for anyone over 16 with an EHCP or learning difficulty. We offer the chance to learn and train in a real-life conference centre and gain qualifications.
