Domestic Abuse Awareness Training
Cumbria Children Safeguarding Partnership (CSCP) are delivering a series of Domestic Abuse Awareness Training Sessions.
This training is aimed at all practitioners working with children as practitioners need to understand the impact of domestic abuse on children.
The session will include:
- Johnson’s typologies of the different types of domestic abuse
- The impact of domestic abuse on children
- What to do if someone discloses domestic abuse
- Completion of the DASH risk assessment, safety & support planning.
- Give an outline of specialist victim support services across the county
- The importance of a coordinated partnership response.
