Signs of Safety Partner Briefings

The CSCP have already delivered a large number of "Signs of Safety" briefing events across the county. To support ongoing learning we have now produced an online narrated briefing so colleagues can access this learning remotely.

Learning outcomes:

  • Provide an overview of Signs of Safety and what tools you can expect to see being used across the Local Authority
  • To review the progress of the implementation across Cumbria and the development of practice with children and families
  • To consider what tools/approach can be directly applied in your own practice area

This online briefing is aimed at providing practitioners and partner agencies with a basic understanding of the Signs of Safety Approach.

Target Audience:

Professionals who work predominantly with children, young people and their families, parents or carers, and who could potentially contribute to the assessment, intervention and reviewing the safeguarding needs for a child or young person, where there are safeguarding concerns, and or potential risks.

Duration: 1 hour 40 minutes
